It's been about a year. Actually a year and 5 weeks since I changed employment. It's been good. Great, actually.

Even though I've been in the same field since saying goodbye to the military, I've learned alot! About my industry. About the software I use. About working remotely (love that part). There's been some amount of stress since being excpected to perform at a certain level while maintaining a fair amount of imposter syndrome takes a toll. But things have progressively gotten better and I feel like some things are clicking better than ever.

Every life experience has led me to where I am now, so I have no regrets. It might have been easier if I was a more willing participant, but sometimes I get lost in the hear and now and lose sight of the big picture.

So, things are going reasonably well. The Mrs. is nearing the end of her fulltime work experience and new challenges and opportunities will be coming along soon.

So I will try to stay focused on the big picture (it's not work), and enjoy myself in the moment and try to stay as balanced as possible.

Don't forget to live your life. It's short and passes by quickly.
