The Dapper Cheetah
Tonight was my first day back at the gym since getting sick the first week of January. Not only did I not feel like going, I didn't want to spread around whatever it is I had.
I had a pretty good session. Of course I didn't do as my sets or as much weight as I was doing a couple of months ago, but I don't want to create any issues that will keep me out of the gym even longer.
Out of a possible 35 days that I should have gone to the gym according to my "plan" (I don't really have a focused, written plan but I do try to get 4 days per week) I went for a total of 8 days and 5 of those were in December. So, I have some catching up to do. Although I don't really think it hurts to cycle some downtime or low effort days, whether intentional or not. I'm glad to be getting back on track though and I hope I can have another 6-9 month run without any major issues.
