Four Fingered Osmond
I'm really, really a creature of habit and routine. It's not debilitating, but I just don't feel quite right until I can get back in the routine. Being that I'm a card carrying introvert and a person that likes structure, the routine feels comfortable. Occasionally we venture off into "somewhat" unchartered waters, but never too far from the sure and stable base of routine and structure.
It's not something that I choose. It's not a preference. It's who I am and where I thrive. Not to say that I'm inflexible, but that within reason, it's where I succeed. And not suprisingly, when the routine is throw askew, it can take some time to get back into the routine or establish a new one. That's where I'm at right now.
Others enjoy more challenging, unstructured environments where they can be free to explore whatever strikes their fancy and I applaud that.
To each his own.
Do what works for you and your personality and you will likely succeed and be happy.
Try to do what others tell you that you should do and you will likely be frustrated and resentful.
Be true to who you are.
